Check the following locations for dirty communal towels:

Blue bathroom Purple bathroom Kitchen towel basket

Communal towels are typically those that are used by the whole house, like bathroom and kitchen handtowels, kitchen workrags (squares of either white terrycloth or black terrycloth with white mesh)

Gather communal towels from the above locations, then:

Wash Dry Fold

Folded towels should then be put away based on use:

Bathrooms: thicker, plusher handtowels and bathsheets Kitchen: thinner towels, not usually terrycloth but still cotton* Kitchen: work rags are the square terrycloth, either white or black terrycloth with white mesh

*no synthetic towels in the kitchen, they can't be used on hot pans because they'll melt, and it ain't worth burning someones hands trying to gamble it won't get used on accident.
